About UK Athletics Licensed Races
You can usually identify if a race is licensed as it will mention the licence, or have the Run Britain or UK Athletics logo on the entry form/flyer. It will have two different prices when entering; one for ‘affiliated’ runners, another for ‘unaffiliated’ or ‘unattached’ runners.
Usually ‘fun runs’ or smaller locally organised races do not have a UK Athletics license, so do not offer a discount.
What’s the discount?
£2 discount on races that are licensed under UK Athletics for affiliated members (basic members are not entitled to this discount).
How do I get the discount?
When entering a race, enter as an ‘affiliated’ runner and choose the club name. You may be asked to provide your UK Athletics registration number. Get in touch with the membership secretary if you’ve recently joined the club and have not received your number.
